Seeking Our Archetypes: Richard Rohr, Carl Jung
and the Energies that Move Us All

Come join in on an exploration into the inner mystic that drives all of our seeking towards authenticity. Carl Jung coined the terms archetypes to try and explain the primordial energies and images that animate all of human life throughout history. These images and symbols have transcended cultures, time periods, and religious experiences, and they have proven to be central to understanding the depth of our inner architecture and collective unconscious. From parables to pantheons, we can find the threads of the archetype in every human story.
In this day of reflection we will sit and find the archetypes that have been driving your unique story. On this journey we will enlist two special guides along with some of their friends and students to help us find our inner mystic. These guides are Carl Jung and a learned student of his teachings: Richard Rohr. Rohr has written extensively about the archetypes and the guiding forces that call us all to become mystics in our own right. We will explore the concept of the archetypes, classic examples of symbols and figures from religion across time, ways we all carry every story that has ever been told and find practices that help us deepen our connection to the part of us that seeks.
