Lenten Day of Reflection with Virginia Herbers
On the Lenten Journey
Thursday, March 5, 2026
10 AM to 3 PM
$60.00 per person; includes lunch
Lent is a time for greater reflection and greater attention to our faith journey. Our Lenten journey occurs as we cross a boundary from winter to spring, as we traverse a path that leads through darkness to light, through death to life, through pain to redemption. As we pray together on this day of reflection, we will explore the invitations to journey with God through those spaces and places, trusting that our final destination is the joy of new life.

Virginia Herbers is a retreat director, spiritual director and author who has spent most of her life as an educator, teaching students of every age from kindergarten to university in St. Louis, Connecticut, New York and Taiwan. She was born and raised in St. Louis, the youngest of 13 children, growing up in South City near Ted Drewes and Candy Cane Lane (for the locals)! After ministering several years in religious life, she now serves as the Director of Mission Formation at Saint Louis University, working with leadership, faculty and staff to integrate Ignatian spirituality and the Jesuit mission into their everyday work.
