WIDEN YOUR SPACES

In Isaiah 54, the prophet urges the Chosen People to “widen the space of their tents, to stretch out their hangings, and to make their pegs firm,” all in courageous preparation for bursting out in every direction possible.

What Isaiah said to the Israelites all those centuries ago is as relevant today as it was then. Whether considering our church, our country, our jobs, homes or communities, we all need to S T R E T C H !! Possibly more so today than ever before! Better to freely choose our stretching exercises than to be coerced into them.

As Isaiah invited the Israelites, so too, Dominican preacher, musician, and composer, Fr. Jim Marchionda, invites us today to widen the space of our tents. Come join this refreshingly creative presentation of word, preaching, story and sacred song.
